Private interior

Address: Jurmala, Latvia

Year: 2016—2017

Area: 250 m2

The private space draws inspiration from the building’s lobby and is a remarkable example of playful yet functional architecture. A central aim of this project was to create a unique world for one of its younger residents. The multifunctional room is designed to complement studies, playtime and a good night’s sleep. Indoor swings, a custom made sofa with a built-in flat screen TV for watching films, an en-suite bathroom and a bed worthy of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales, cater to the needs and dreams of a modern day princess.
