Address: Riga, Latvia

Year: 2015—in progress

Area: 120 m2

The historical neighbourhood surrounding this building was once known as Philosophers’ Alley, as this is where local intelligentsia could be found thinking, conversing, or doing. The lobby of the building is designed to remind one of a library. The space takes pride in a ceiling 12 metres high, with shelves built all the way to the top resembling the pages of an open book. A fireplace enriches the atmosphere, while upholstered furniture invites one to sit down and engage in a philosophical discussion.
